It’s amazing to think that just a year ago BroncBuster, our now infamous Badlands Bronco, broke both tie rods at the top of King of the Hill obstacle at the Moab of Texas in Katemcy Rocks outside of Mason Texas which launched the “Bronco Hugs” meme. viewed over a million times!
Now, just a year later, BroncBuster is proud to return to Katemcy Rocks to not only conquer the King of the Hill obstacle but to sponsor Wheeling For A Cause – Hill Country, a 3 day off-roading event centered around providing solutions to empower mobility disadvantaged persons to experience, engage, and overcome challenging environments.
Building off the wild success of Wheeling For A Cause – Preston, Idaho, where we awarded a tricked out, fully functional mini BroncBuster for a young girl with spinal bifida.
Wheeling For A Cause is asking everyone in the off-roading community to come join BroncBuster January 13-15, 2023 at Katemcy Rocks, Texas for a great 3 days of wheeling, obstacles, friends, family and most importantly, the presentation of a crazy radical, fully off-road capable wheelchair for a deserving wounded veteran to facilitate his return to the enjoyment of the outdoors.
But we need your help! It takes all of us in the off-road community to pull off something this big. All we ask that you come out and join us for the best 3 days you’ll spend in a Texas January. Every dollar gathered that weekend will go directly to off-setting direct costs of putting on the event, funding donations to deserving veteran’s groups and “the build” (that off-road wheelchair that will blow your mind!). We also have opportunities for cash donations and larger sponsorship because something this fun takes some resources...so only your generosity and the sky is the limit!
The weekend is going to be a blast! Katemcy Rocks is called the 'Moab of Texas' for a reason. A family owned off-road park with trails from overland to almost impossible, Katemcy Rocks has something to offer just about anyone which is why it’s a perfect place for Wheeling For A Cause! This inaugural event in Texas offers 3 days of guided off-road trail runs with a range of challenges from easy overland for new off-road drivers to crazy obstacle climbs for those of you ready to push it to the limits! But there’s just as much excitement off the trail as on. Suppliers of many of your favorite off-road parts and pieces will be present as well as swag of all kinds. Plus we are promising a great dinner Saturday night coupled with an inspiring presentation to our deserving veteran and some live entertainment that you gotta be there to believe!
So rip the plastic off your 2023 calendar and circle January 13-15 in red. Then hustle over to WheelingforaCause.org and get you and all your besties registered.
